hey guys i have a93 xj and i need to know if i have a big problem on my hands. my transmition seems to rev out to much off the line befor it changes gears but other than that no problems.

sorry to be ignorant but could you explain?
Throttle Position Sensor - monitors how far your gas pedal is to the floor and tells the computer and tranmission computer so they can change stuff like air/fuel mixture and shift points. Search for "Throttle Position Sensor" on how to test it (you'll need a volt meter) and if it's bad, replace it (under $100 I think).
