Factory Jeep rims

Did jeep ever use a 6 inch wide rim from the factory or just 7"? i have 34x9.50r15s on stock jeep rims and the last 3 times ive gone out wheelin i've popped 5 beads off the rim without even airing my tires down.

Check on your drivers side door or door jamb and the tag should tell you the tire and rim size you received from the factory.

I think the steel jeep rims are 6in I know the older (rectangle window) ones are, I have 10.50 on a factory alluminum "snowflake" rim. it's 7in wide.

i know mine are 7", i need to know if there was a 6

I think the factory base model YJ wheels were a 15x6.
I do know for a fact that these wheels are 15x6. (I have one for my spare) but I can't confirm which Jeep they came on.

That came on some of the older base model xj's. Yes jeeps did have a 6" rim from the factory. It was quite common.
