upgraded steering on stock rig?

I have a stock 97 xj that im going to rebuild the front end on. What is a good upgaded steering system that will work stock intil i put in my lift. The lift is gonna be 4.5 inches. Any info is greatly apreciated. Thanks

what exactly do you mean by rebuilding the front end? what parts are you replacing/rebuilding?
