Anyone have one. Or experiance with them.
GOOD, Bad. Seems from specs etc. that they will run longer without overheating ect.

I had one, it was very slow but it would pull all day. went to a Warn 8k pulls about 3 times faster.

I've never had one. I have used, and seen used a hydro winch several times.
Brian hit it on the head. Stong as an Ox, slow as a snail.

I plan on going electric.

They work well until your engine stalls/blows up/etc. If the military used them on the Humvees, there must be something good about them.

Thanks that was kind of what I was wandering. Line speed is fairly important to me. Thanks a ton.

no, if we use them in the military, that just means they were the lowest bidder :)

trust me, i know....lol

your lucky bo kennedy (shelbyluv) hasnt read this...... youd get a writeup on all the crap parts on the the humvee that he replaces daily.
