2" TC drop ?

Ok so I have never seen this done (prior to last weekend),but one of the guys who went to Tellico with us had a rustys 1" dropped crossmember replacement and a rustys 1" TC drop.He seams to have no problems with it except that his lever is dropped quite a bit.He has a 2001 xj with the 231 and a 4.5" RC lift and said it was a quick fix for his vibes.Aside from the obvious ground clearence issues what are the downsides tto this set up,is it any extra stress on parts ?
 
lots of stress on the exhaust too...I'd bet...

I wouldnt wheel anywhere close to the guy....

X2,and the OP should have a LP D30 making things even worse!
 
I ran a 1 inch drop, helped finish off my motor and trans mounts. Isn't a sye cheaper than a drop crossmember and a t/c drop kit?
