Coil springs - unequal lengths?

OK. Well, I finished installing my rear shackles and have plenty of light left in the day, so I thought I'd slap the ZJ coils in, too.
I remember something about the coil springs in XJ and ZJ jeeps being uneven lenght and looking at the ZJ coils - true story. Which side does the longer spring go in - passenger's or driver's?
I've tried searching with google and on naxja.. not finding the information and been looking a while...
Thanks folks - savin' my life..

The longer spring goes on the passenger side.

There was just a thread about this, longer spring goes on passenger side due to diff being on driver side.
The diff?...Why would that matter?

It's actually because of the torque from the drivetrain.

Or it could go on the drivers side for the weight of the driver.:D

I believe the diff causes the driver's side spring mount to be higher than the passenger side, therefore you need a shorter spring on the driver side. I think gojeep mentions this on his site.
