Been having a few vapor lock issues. Run on highwaying driving for hour or two, dies out or wont start on recrank. Replaced fuel filter-it was very clogged.
Week or so after putting in new fuel filter have vapor lock issue again-about a hour of highway driving and it wont restart.

Is there something else that could be causing this problem and any way to fix it??

Heat. Trace your fuel lines and make sure they are clear from any exhaust or other heat source, wrap them with insulation if needed.

A pusher pump will always be better as stated above, but you obviously don't like that advice.

I'm having similar issues on another vehicle. What is a good insulation for this application (say, running near the exhaust manifold)?

Thanks,
fiz
