I'm trying to put the trailer harness from my totalled out '96 into my '98 due to a previous owner hacking the wiring in the rear drivers fender in my '98 to install a uhaul trailer harness installed.
I would love to find a 98-01 harness end for this, but do not have access to one right now. I have found that the '96 harness will not work with the '98 wiring (this must have been yet another change made in '97?). Long story short, I've got both ends and a hoppy plug in adapter for the '96 harness, but need to graft it to a '98 harness. Can anyone give me the colors and where they go for the different (96 and 98) years?
