So. My cam is worn, but still running. Weak and vibrates.
I am certain the valve lifters are mushroomed and will be a pain to replace. You can't just pull them out of the bores. I think the break-in procedure wasn't adequate. the intake lobe on #2 cylinder is worn "flat."
Should I spend only $500 on a new cam and lifters (including gaskets, etc.) or just go with a new engine.
Decisions, decisions.
