piston reads 50 on top

50 is not a standard oversize. I do not believe that is the overbore size. You need a set of calipers and measure. That is the ONLY way you can be sure.
 
much appreciated thank you.. Im trying to get my husbands jeep going without him knowing and saw that it showed 50 on the top of all of them and got a little confused...
 
If the pistons are already out, you can take one to most parts houses or a machine shop and they will be able to tell you in a flash.

No. if your talking about the Jeep 4.0 the factory pistons has a 50 stamped on them. I don’t know why but that’s the stock piston
