custom gauges

Has anyone ever made a complete set of custom gauges for an XJ or atleast have any pictures of such. A write up of it would be great. I am having the typical problems with my cluster and after taking it apart to try and fix the problem, they worked for a day and completely quit..again. Just wondered what other options were out there. Thank you.
