The Specs-87 XJ 4.0,AX-15,D35 w/trac-lok
Problem- The yoke /U-joint has play between the locating tabs on the yoke,about 0.030>.040 as a guess.There is a noticable movement of the joint even when tightened by the straps,the caps are properly located against the tabs,but the center will move back&forth.
A new u-joint exhibits the same problem.Was/is there a "large" joint to fill this gap?
The standard 153x joint is 3 7/32" (1310) a 1350 is 3 5/8 ,which is 13/32 bigger,way too big to fit .
Would a new yoke be the only solution?
