Looking for a new radiator for my 90xj. prolly going to change over to open loop at the same time, just because i am more comfortable with it.

do you recommend a copper core with brass tanks or aluminium core with plastic tanks?? the copper is about $70 more. what do you think. this car will prolly nwever see any heavy engine modifications or anything.

Without a doubt, go all metal....the plastic ones fail a LOT...

I'll sound like a broken record here, but I am also in favor of the all metal. I had a plastic one come apart down the side and the radiator shop told me that they considered the plastic ones as disposable.

the problem in my experience with plastic is that the mechanical joint between the metal radiator and the plastic tanks cannot ever be as strong as a weld or solder joint
