digital clock

Hi, everyone, I'm Sandro from Italy, I'm the happy owner of a '89 XJ 4000 litre. I try to change the oem '89 digital clock with another that became from '94 xj. In the '94 clock there are a lot of wires (for the spy check) and they are of different colors. Is there someone that know how to connect this wire? I just need the clock wires and light only.
