What is the part number for the RE Hack N tap SYE for the 242? I looked on their website and couldnt find it. I have a 99 XJ too

Ray is correct. It is the same part as the 231.

Pre 96 part number for the RE hack and tap is: RE1801
96 and newer part number for the RE hack and tap is : RE1807
Straight from RE's site.
242 and the 231 use the same hack and tap.
