I can get two new RE full length AAL (3") for very cheap but i don't want to go that high. I prefer around 2". Can i remove one of the smaller leaf springs to decrease height? Something like:
Top to bottom:
My main spring
RE AAL
My 2nd spring
My last spring

How would you go about setting it for about 2-2.5"?

I installed the RE AAL 1410, kept all of my origional springs in pack. If you are going to tow, leave the bottom most spring (shortest one) and you should get the advertized lift, otherwise you can remove it.
I am very happy with the ride quality and lift amount from the AAL.
Note: RE automatically included the spring center bolts (charged me) and everything installed smoothly.
Good Luck!

I would guess the overload spring should be taken out i'm probably wrong tho.

Putting the new leaf in isn't rocket science, and you can remove a shorter leaf to reduce overall springpack lift. Just add the new leaf between an upper leaf that is longer, and a lower one that is shorter.
