conversion questions

so i came across a 2 wd 88 mj, automatic, i was wondering aside from the transmission and transfer case what else needed to be swapped in order to do the conversion, the 88 mj has a 4.0 while my 86 only has the 2.5 and its manual... i was wondering if anyone has done the conversion so that i can get some advice and debate whether or not the conversion is worth it...i also just had surgery on my shoulder so i cant drive my 86 mj due to the manual trans...any help would be greatful
