My transfer case seems to leaking where it mates to the transmission. Is there a gasket or seal there that needs replaced? Does it mate up directly with some RTV? What is the best way to fix it?

no there is only a seal on the tcase or rear of the trans that is leaking

If you are leaking were the t-case and trans meet either the trans output seal or t-case input seal is leaking. As alteredxj wrote, there is no gasket or seal (or RTV, etc) there. It should be dry between the t-case and trans.

well the fluid is definitely coming from the transfer case, I've been checking it regularly and have had to add fluid a couple times. So it must be the input seal.
