Could someone inform me of some OPEN forest service roads i could explore??

Not roads that have gates.

I've found a few around duvall that are fun but im looking for some around stevens pass or snoqualmie pass.
Roads that go to top of mountains and or wind around logging areas...

thanks.

Off 90 heard its the cats meow.....

I got to hand it to you Will, that was actually funny:roflmao:

The Naches and Manastash ridge area seem to have alot of service roads that intersect the trails. some take you up to places with pretty good views, IE. Ravens Roost, and Quartz mountain. I would recomend at minimum a decent map of the area before you go.

The Moutain Loop Hiway from Granite Falls to Darrington has a few great roads off it. Nothing excessively long. The problem is that the flood damge from the past few years has the actual loop closed in the middle and a couple of the roads end before their time. Deer Creek road and Sunrise Mine road both have decent scenery and are still open. At the end of the Deer creek road take the short hike to Lake Kelcema less than a mile of easy hiking with a great scenic lake. Going in from the Darrington side the Sauk river road is fairly nice but has suffered some damage.
Of course there is also the Mount Pilchuck road. Great views but usually quite a few people.

The logging roads in Wilkeson are open for crusing and hunting, but no 4 wheelin. Its private property, but the public is allowed to be on it. There is a sign at the enterance telling you the rules and such. Nice place out there. Heres a few pics. Im also sure it would be quite fun on a snow run.

well that actually sounds like a fun trail

keil get a map and lets go. oh and maybe lift your jeep or else well havta take kyles pos truck with us

its a washed out forest service road that is retarded when it snows, think stuck within 10 min then getting unstuck for 3 hours. Without snow there wouldn't be any challenge to it.
