1999 xj brake caliper

i bought a 1999 xj and noticed the right front caliper that bolts to the spindle must have been stripped out once because now it is helicoiled now does anyone think this is a concern or should i think about buying a new spindle?

my drivers side is stripped i just used a nut and bolt and it works just like new!

A helicoil is fine if properly done. Those are pretty lightly stressed bolts anyway.

If done properly, Helicoil is BETTER than regular.
No worries who wants to stop anyway?

A helicoil should be fine. The brakes don't make a lot of side-to-side pressure on the bolts anyways. I would not worry one bit about the bolt coming lose.
