Ok my 96 Xj I bought needing work and ended up running out of money. Thanks to medical problems. Anyways I was looking it over and found what looks like the upper control arm is upside down on the drivers side. It was replaced by the PO and is sitting with the U facing up. Where all the other arms have the U facing down. Do i need to change it? It is not being driven due to needing a bumper and stock springs as the PO did not finish the 4.5 lift kit and the lift is to go on my 94.

Yes, its upside down.

Its been broken loose already, go ahead and put it the way its supposed to go.

How can you mount it upside down? The upper control arm bushings are on the axle side, right?

So how would one be able to attach the control arm then?

Can you take a picture of this? Having a hard time picturing it in my mind as well.....
