Rig doesn't have, nor should ever have had, ABS...soooo, can anyone advise what the silver-metallic electronic module under the rear of the center console is....??

on an xj, i'm not sure. i know in grand cherokee's of the same vintage that's where the airbag control module is. maybe the same deal in the xj's?
