Tube Fenders on a XJ?

Is it possible? If so, does anyone have any pics/ plans i could go off of to create my own. I think with the right construction they would look really cool and be better than spending $300 for bushwackers

I have been thinking about doing this too and i have an idea of what i want to do, i just need to draw it out and get the tools, money, and materials to do it. I think if done right tube finders both front and back would look pretty bad ass.
