EFI CJ

hi, i was wondering if the cylinder of a 92 4.0 would fit an 83 4.2. the reason is i want to make my old dinky carbutor banish. and i was thinking if the 4.0 head would fit it, i could probably make my own efi kit cheaper than what they sell them in the mags. thanks for your help.

It will with a little modification. Do some searching, and if you can't find anything here, check out the AMCeaglenest forums, as that is a common thing to do with eagles.

pretty common swap actually,but you will have to go to a forum that uses the 4.2 engine for more info. there is a good cj forum at www.off-road.com do a search there,you should find all the info you need.
