What is this, and where can I get a new one?

I believe that it is the oil pressure sending unit. The little rubber stopper at the end popped out, and when I push it back in, the pressure of the oil just pushes it back out, creating a profuse leak. Will NAPA have one?

1995 XJ with 4.0.

Thanks!

napa part #OP6695 if you have a gauge, #OP6693 if its just a light.

i have one of each in stock at my store, your local napa should as well.

edit: thats the one for the guage. it should run you around 40 bux.

Yes, I have the guage.

Thanks!

EDIT: I just looked it up on NAPA, and it seems that part #OP6695 is what screws into the block. Does it come with the plug, and the rubber stopper thing? I only ask because that plug, pictured in my hand is whats leaking.

The oil pressure is pushing thru the electrical connector(what you have in your hand) the bad part is what screws in the block. There should be no oil at the electrial connection.
A standard pipe plug can replace the sending unit until it can be replaced. The connection is a weather proof connection, look like 1 wire is broken.
