First I have a 94 XJ that when you turn the wheel sharply and am rolling I get a groaning noise out of the front. It only happens when I go slow. The Jeep has 124,000. When going straight it's fine. Any ideas? I can't find any zerk fittings on the front shafts, and I know the front wheel bearings have not been replaced.

If the noise is coming from the steering, I would suggest some Lucas power steering additive. It worked wonders in my old heep.

If the noise is coming from the wheels, I have no idea... Good luck!

Control arm bushings or just loose lower control arms possibly.
