87 4.0

I have an 87 4.0 and want to know if a 97 intake, throttle body, and header will work and what else I need to have or do

Try the search engine, there's alot of info on this. When I searched advanced I came up with this:

I know the 91 year turned the throttle body, sensors, throttle and Tranny linkage 180 degrees around on the intake manifold. 97 made further changes on the TPS as I recall. The IAC and TPS on the throttle body changed in 91 as I recall. That's all I know, there is probably more that is different.

Why do you want to put the 97 parts on an 87?

I just put an 87 into a 96 xj and there were no extra parts needed, it went right in and hooked up no problem.
