Hi Guys;

I just serviced my front brakes.

I replaced the brake pads and also skimmed both the rotors; and they meet the minimum thickness specifications.

I tested the brakes and it works great.Except when my feet is on the brake i feel some noise / pulsation that seems to occur like on a revolving frequency. I did not bleed the system since i did not open any connections.

Does the disk still have to settle in ?

I also check the rear shoe linings ad they are at least 4 mm.the drums look fine.

any thoughs on why i am feeling the pulsations or periodic noise ; will be appreciated.

thanks
collin

After I do brakes, I will take it out and do some fast stops a few times. That helps break in the new parts. The rotors might still have a slight warp in them. Any noise is a vibration. Did you spray the back of the pads with any anti squeeling compound?
