Swapping in Dana 44... Q's

I took the chryco 8.25 out of my '98 cherokee and i replaced it with a dana 44 out of a '89 limited. I need to know how I go about hooking up the brakes. The E-brake cable hookups look different between the jeeps/axles

Remove the cables from the 8.25 and put them in the 44.The holes in the drums are the same.This worked for my 96 and I know the set up changed on the newer body style.
