Planning on changing oil in 8.25 rear end. Question about fill plug.

The rear has a rubber plug. I plan on draining oil and replacing gasket and refilling. Anybody ever change their oil and have the drain plug leak after. Should I be buying a new drain plug? If so where can I get one?

They leak, try a bit of permatex gasket goo or something to seal it after.

x2 Mine leaked too after change. Gasket goo, problem solved.

mine stayed nice and tight. but i bought gasket sealer just in case it didnt.
