is there an aftermarket valve cover that i can buy that doesnt have the pcv valve built in,or do i have to get a factory replacement ?

Well you're always going to have the two CCV holes in the valve cover because those are essential to engine performance. You can use a valve cover from any 4.0Litre 87-06 (or whatever) as long as you get the corresponding CCV lines. Make sure if you use a 96+ stamped steel cover that you use the composite gasket as well. They do make aftermarket ones as well that Crown and Quadratec sell.jcbsr1 said:
