Broken bolts for A/C Compressor mount??

Both bolts closest to the engine block snapped off inside the compressor mount today. I'm wondering if for now, I can drive/use air conditioning with only the outboard bolts and about 3-4 inche "studs" left holding the compressor where there used to be bolts. And also... if anyone knows how much this piece goes for, and for how much. If the compressor mount is cheaper then I figure my time and pain to be cutting the "studs", drilling into the mount and tapping them etc... I would rather just go for the mount. Anybody else have this happen?
