Ever use Max life trans fluid by Valvoline?

Looking for so trans fluid to put in my XJ. I usually drain half the fluid every year and replace. Came across max life for vehicles with over 75,000 miles. Has anyone used it and is it worth it?

don't run anything synthetic in an aw4 automatic tranny. for some reason, it tends to make the tranny blow up.

Mercron/Dextron IIIE only. No synthetics. I've just always been told it causes chatter, but no real catastrophic damage. I only run Mopar brand fluid in the tranny myself.

Valvoline max life is NOT synthetic and your xj will like it.

wrong.

sometimes it's ok.

most of the time, you should NOT risk putting anything in there that IS synthetic.

read the fine print on valvo max and you will see it's partial synthetic and therefore DON'T use it.
