help with tires and fenders

i have a 99 xj with a 2 inch lift and 30x9.50s. can i run 31x10.50 with it? i dont mind if i need to trim or even hack my fenders off. if i need to do that can someone give me some pointers on the does and donts? thanks alot

search fender trimming, there is all kinds of stuff

the front's easy...fenders are only for looks here bro I cut all the way to the outside of the flare using the faded paint as a guide...and bend over the seam. You'l know what I'm talking about once you pull off the liner
(I run 33's though...lift...what lift)
in the rear you have to be more careful. you can cut up to the seam and bumpstop accordingly or you can slit past it and hammer it up.
(you can go more extreme ...but dude there 31's )
