Does anyone know if the OEM carpeting for the 98jx (Have a friend at the dealer so get discount) already has the cut outs for the shifter, trimmed and ready to be put in, or will I have to cut it myself ? I know that this is the case with aftermarket carpet and trimming may be involved. No one at the dealership knew.

it should be molded to drop right in.

i'm 99.937776% sure that it will have all the appropriate slits and cut-out sections ready to go. the last one we ordered did anyway.

I picked mine up from a guy on ebay a couple of years back, It was about $150 complete and had all the holes except for the seat belts. It was fully molded and has held up well.

Please post back how much the dealer normally gets.

I paid 202.34 including tax. Not bad I guess considering the dealer wanted 318.00 normally.
