Hydro Assist on stock steering?

Hi guys, to make a long story short, my Jeep is sitting in the garage waiting for parts. So while I'm waiting for stuff to clear customs (which is taking forever) I'd like to start another project on my Jeep since it's out of commission anyways... I was thinking hydro assist would be fun to tackle. However, I haven't really had any experience with hydro assist so I'd like your advice/comments.

I'm running 4.5" lift and 33's on longarms. I have the stock HP D30 and stock steering. I do have some V8 ZJ stuff to put in and I'd like to do that while I'm doing HA.

Are there any problems I'd run into with HA and stock steering?

Where do people commonly mount the HA to when using stock steering?

What size ram shoul I get if I would like this to be my DD (only a couple KM/day) to get to work? 1.5" seems common so I could stick with that, and 2" is kinda slow but would a 1" work well or not?

And no, it doesn't work well with the stock inverted y steering. Youu need to convert to a crossover setup.

But that's assuming I tie the hydro to the tierod... couldn't I hook onto the knuckle instead? Or is it still a bad idea?
