Your pitman arm is fine.
Unless you go to a lowered trackbar bracket on the frame side, there's no reason to change the pitman arm at 3.5".

I just put 3 in on mine and before the new adjustable track bar. My axel was about 2 1/2 inches off center Pitman arm was fine.
