Extending swaybar disco's

Hey I already have discos. but I am going to add more lift. Current lift 3" and going to add 1.5" for a total of 4.5. Can I just use a small piece of square tube or angle or something to lenghten the stock bracket. To keep from buying another set of discos. If so would I need to just add 1.5" or howmuch should I add? Maybe I'm cheap but i'd rather not spend 120.00 for new ones. Now looking back I should have gone withJKS (adjustables)

Mine are tomken.

I should probley just spring for some new ones. Oh well worth a shot. Thanks guys

You could cut it and weld in a new section if you have a welder. I did it with my stock links but i don't know why it wouldn't work for you.
