throttle body return spring

just bored out the tb and it seems the spring has uncoiled one time? The "catch" that is supposed to ride on the linkage wont stay put and there is no return pressure on the spring. Any thoughts?

you have to load it yourself while your putting it back on. put the linkage in partly, and move the spring so that is sits in its proper indent and then push the linkage in the rest of the way.
It may take some time and fanagling, but it will go back in place.
