Are 2 door XJ doors compatible from different body styles Pre-97 and 97+

I am trying to make some half doors and want to know if 93 doors will look similar to my 97+ They don't have to be perfect.

The hinges will be the same. The strikers and latches are different. But they can be made to work. I had 97+ doors on my old 96.
