Does anyone have any resources to find out some more history about the Naches Wagon Trail?

Most of the references I can find on the internet is about wheeling trips...which I'm plenty familiar with. Thanks in advance, guys.

P.S. I've got wikipedia covered. :D

Yeah, going to be doing a Naches Pass trip and I thought it would be cool to include a little historical background. Pretty fascinating stuff, really.

You've got to ride with me sometime in 'go fast' mode. I can see why he loved driving it through Baja so much. :D:D:D

What, is it like KITT?I'd be more than happy to play sometime. We should invite Howard; that guy made me hustle to keep up once.

I've got a few roads in mind for that... If you're up for it come Octoberish we should go. I'm gone early in the month for a business trip. ;)

What kind of stuff you looking for ? Like the cliff that they lowered the wagons down ? Or where is the rest of the trail and where did it go ? When Jeep Clubs started running it ? It took a weekend to run it in 1959 when it was a challenge.
I`m running it Sat the 21 st and will end up at the "Rocks" after a couple of other trails. I think if things go that way .I wont know for sure till fri. No I `m not going to the BB Que.
