4.5 inch lift and sway bar

so i finished up puttin my 4.5 inch rustys lift on my 98 xj today with my friends, it took up about 10 hours all together. but gettin to the main point my sway bar came with drop brackets, about 2 inches id say. we put them on and replaced the sway bar and now its at a horrible angle and it ate through the upper bushings and is just sittin on the nut. so should i just junk those and buy some quick disconnects? or sway bar extensions?

My guess would be to do so, the quick disconnects are pretty beneficial.

If you buy the proper JKS QUicker Disconnects you should be able to remove the swaybar drop brackets and adjust the discos to get your sway bar to the correct angle of 15 degrees I think it is.
