U-Bolt Question

Kindof a newb question, but can I get the dimensions for the U-Bolts? I no longer have my XJ, but a friend is looking for rear U-Bolts for 2" blocks. I can get some 3.5" x 10" U-bolts for him for free, but need to know if they'll fit.

3.5" wide x 10" long? Is that the inside width or the outside width of the u bolts?

If it is the inside, they wont work.

Need to know what rear axle he has, so the tube diameter can be determind.

Blocks suck.Talk him out of it. Shackles and an extra spring would be cheap and alot better.
