On hot days, and particularly longer trips my, yellow engine light will come on and my 4.0 will not idle smooth or will stop completely. After this happens it is difficult to start but will usually be fine after that.
It only happens on the hotter days of the summer and it goes away with cooler weather.
no occurances at all in the past 2 winters. But this is the second summer it has happened.
Last year when it happened I replaced the flywheel sensor on the top rear of the bell housing.
Anybody have a clue on this one?
