crazy slip yoke idea...could be holy grail?

just tell me i'm stupid or help me figure this one out...

dana 30 wheel hub/ unit bearing is 27 spline the axle shaft that goes in it is 1.16" (can't find dimensions of the hole)
we seek a 27 spline 1.17 flange

if we cut the bearing and such off, knock out the studs and we are left with a simple splined flange. now redrill the flange to match the CV joint and wahla!!!!

or not....will it work?

I think i am following you. Seem logical that it would match up. But, what about your seal surface?

oh...i have a TJ and i am post whatever year so i don't need the seal...

Besides all the obvious reasons not to do it,the centering collar is to large and is male!
