fabbing upper control arms

Alright im bought to ditch the dana 30 and go to a dana 44. How to a measure the angles to get the new uppers in the stock location...All be using the rubicon truss and mounts...

Well how you to a measure the angles would be an angle finder and a tape measure.:gee:

I think you have to take pretty precise measurements off of the D30 before you yank it. I read about attaching control arm mounts once and they made a whole jig thing from the previous axle so they could set up the next axle. Measure before you disassemble.

This is what I did when I built the D30 for my 95.I dont see why you couldnt do something similar that would incorperate the uppers also!
