locked brakes

I put on new pads and rotors today on my 98, and my brakes stayed locked up and Im not sure what to do to get them unstuck. any ideas?

Did you get the right rotors?

At most parts store...they list two types for the 97-01 XJs...composite and full cast...

If you XJ was meant for the full cast, the composites will not work...the rotor hat width is 1/8" too tall...this will cause the rotor to rub against the back plate/spindle...very difficult to rotate once your pads/wheels are back on (know from experience).
