I've just rebuilt mt 4.0L 30 over pistons, mopar performance stage 1 cam, lifters, springs and timing set, Accel coil, TB spacer, Airaid intake (mopar), no cat, Flowmaster SUV muffler and MAP adjuster. I don"t want to loose my low end off road (1000 to 1800rpm)
but want to maximize on road power (2800 to 3800rpm) I know the stock header pipe is an issue, should I invest in some headers (thinking Borla) or just have a custom down pipe made and stay with the factory manifold, I have 3 spares and can weld.
(35" tires, 4.56 gears, custom bumpers, skid plates, winch, tools, etc.. weight = 4500 to 5000lbs)
