Lightened Flywheels?

In searching for a new flywheel for my '88 I noticed Autozone has 3 different flywheels. They weigh 28, 27, and 26.5 lbs and the price goes up as the weight goes down. I wonder if the weight difference is the reason for the price difference and would 1.5 pounds off the flywheel really translate into any performance gains? 1.5 pounds off the flywheel works out to be about 5% lighter assuming the stock flywheel is 28 lbs.

Edit: doh... my math was off...

It would on the drag strip, but you want to match things up with your damper or toast main bearrings. A heavy flywheel will keep rotational force and let you idle through things a lot easier.
