So i'm getting 31x11.5-16 for cheap off my friend but i need to buy new rims. What size rim should i get and how much backspacing? Also i have about 3.5-4 inches of lift so it shouldn't be a problem right?thx

16x7 or 8 would be fine. Lift should be fine if you trim/bumpstop accordingly.

Here's mine,(4" lift) if you want something for reference. 265/75/16 Michelin A/Ts (about the equivalent of a 32.5x11x16) on 16x7 Black "D Window" Cragars. They were about 75 bucks a piece from discount tire. However, you will need to trim your plastic fender liner things, and you will rub on the control arms at full lock with these wheels.

Go 4" backspacing. I have 31x11.5 TSL's and dont rub sh!t.

I'm buildingm my 90 xj with a 3" lift have 31x11.5x15" will I have any rubbing issues. stock rims as well. I also have a set of A/T 33x12.5x15" would it be better to roll the 31's????

Also a newbie to the page

Here is my junk with 2 1/2 inches of lift and 31x11.5x15 with 4" bs. Pre fender trim.

you would be pushing it to run the 33s with 3 inches of lift. mucho rubbing would ensue. and you might not have enough of an offset on the stock rims to match the 31x11.5

3" will fit 33s with adequate trimming

well cragar only makes 16x7 with 4inch bs or a 16x8 with 4.5 backspacing so which one?
